For people who need to find the location where the car parked in the Fuqian Square Car Park, Taipei City Parking Management and Development Office began offering the smart phone software for free on August 10, 2011.
Besides the announced function of realtime information of available parking lot, the newest edition of QR support to find car location by scanning the QRCode 2D barcode.
People can use the smart phone camera to scan the QRCode on the pillar next to the location where the car parked after parking, this app will record user's parking location. When people go back to the car park, the parking record will be marked on location map. Moreover, people can scan the QRCode nearby to show user's current location on the same map. People who use Android or iPhone smart phone can download the free app "北市好停車QR"(Chinese) from Android Market or App Store immediately.
